Marriage - From A Frustrated Indian Girl's Perspective!

I have arrived at such phase of life where everyone around me are making/getting their partners for life..

It's like making partnership deal with someone at this stage of life.

The stage where friend circle is reduced and only true friends and the friends in need to survive stays..

The time when we tend to look more in inner self than outer world...when there is so much chaos outside here we are seeking for solitude and peace..

And at the same time wondering why we need partner for life when the only person who can understand me is ME..

The only person who can keep me happy is ME..

The only person who makes me strong is ME..

And the list will go on....

By selecting life partner.. we here make a deal to understand each other.. to keep each other happy.. etc ..which in turn is a "Deal of Expectations" why????

I mean why society likes complexity... why to expect other person to understand you or keep you happy..

I can understand the situation where there is a natural bond between 2 people and they want to be the part of this deal.. but in that case too why there is age limit to sign this deal...and the entirely different situation.. what point it has in arranged deals.. there exists no bond and applies age constraint!!!

Why is it not ok if person doesn't have partner or do not want a partner...what if person is self sufficient to take care of self and keep a self happy.. because person understands self very well.. and no one can love the person more than the person itself!!!

And anyway in India.. majority of people are part of lifepartner deal is for sex, babies, family, support etc...well this things can be achieved without signing the deal too!!

Then why there is such pressure by society at this stage to get into this unwanted deal..again.. for happiness? To have someone's support by your side..?..but happiness is not needed from anyone and the support is not needed at this stage of life...

Life is mine.. happiness is mine..Bond with the person will be created naturally.. or may be there will be no bond.. but incase there is a bond ..the time and decision to sign lifepartner deal will be by us...till then "everything that belongs to me is mine!"  ;)
